"Slam It Youth Edition 2024" invites young people between the ages of 16 and 18 to a four-day science slam workshop during the Easter holidays. The program was organized in cooperation between the Directorate University Culture of TU Dresden, TSD and the tjg. theater junge generation.
"Slam It Youth Edition 2024" invites young people between the ages of 16 and 18 to a four-day science slam workshop during the Easter holidays. From April 2 to 5, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, they will have the opportunity to delve deeper into their scientific fields of interest and improve their communication skills at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden (TSD). The program was organized in cooperation between the Directorate University Culture of TU Dresden, TSD and the tjg. theater junge generation.
The workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to work on a scientific topic of their choice and prepare themselves as best as possible for a possible appearance on stage. By attending interactive sessions and receiving individual coaching, the young people will be able to boost their self-confidence and practice their presentation skills.
Participants will receive an "all-round carefree package" including catering and presentation material for the participation fee of EUR 40. Those who wish will be given a slot at the Science Slam at the Dresden Science Night on June 14, 2024 at the Technische Sammlungen.
