Cyberagentur prepares new call for projects
Virtual partnering event on digital authentication
The Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit GmbH (Cyberagentur) invites you to the Partnering Event - "Digital Authentication through Novel Biometric Methods" on 10 April 2024. The aim is to prepare the research project of the same name and to network potential interested parties.
The research project "Authentication through novel biometric methods" aims to investigate three novel forms of biometric authentication - behavioural biometrics, stimulus-induced biometrics and universal patterns - and to develop the requirements for their encryption. Digital identities are indispensable: whether for online banking or for digital applications of the federal government. Secure authentication is also necessary to make various types of applications secure for users.
Cryptographic protection must be provided for each of the three biometric procedures. The biometric procedures for behavioural and stimulus-induced biometrics are to be secured in such a way that they meet all requirements for biometric template protection.
Those interested in the new research project can obtain further information on the content at the upcoming partnering event. All participants will also have the opportunity to present their areas of focus and network with potential partners for the formation of consortia.

The Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit GmbH (Cyberagentur) was founded by the Federal Government in 2020 as a fully in-house company of the Federal Government under the joint leadership of the Federal Ministry of Defence and the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland with the aim of taking a cross-departmental view of internal and external security in the field of cybersecurity with a focus on application strategy. Against this background, the work of the Cyberagentur is primarily aimed at the institutionalised implementation of highly innovative projects that are associated with a high risk with regard to the achievement of objectives, but at the same time can have a very high potential for disruption if successful.
The Cyberagentur is part of the National Security Strategy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The Cyberagentur is headed by Prof Dr Christian Hummert as Research Director and Managing Director and Daniel Mayer as Commercial Director.
