The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is expanding its wide range of future-oriented Master's degree programmes to include the international study programmes Hybrid Electric Propulsion Technology, Micro- and Nanoelectronics, Transformation Studies and Urban Design and Sustainable Revitalization for the winter semester 2024/25.

Prospective students from Germany and abroad have until August 31 or July 15, 2024 to apply for these and 28 other Master's degree programs ranging from Architecture to Business Administration and Engineering. Detailed information on application and admission can be found on the BTU homepage at https://www.b-tu.de/en/study/application/master-degree-programmes

All four new Master's degree programs are admission-free and can be completed as full-time or part-time studies. The regular duration of the standard program is four semesters. The language of teaching is English and the study location is BTU's main campus in Cottbus.

The Hybrid Electric Propulsion Technology study programme* with a Master of Science degree was specially developed at BTU to provide a comprehensive understanding of the interdisciplinary field of hybrid electric propulsion technology. This offers a promising solution for the decarbonization of the transport sector and emission-free mobility. The course covers aspects of Mechanical Engineering as well as Electrical and Control Engineering, provides essential knowledge and skills for hybrid electric propulsion technology in aviation. It offers the opportunity to choose between the two main directions of Engine Technology and Electric Propulsion Technology.
