The School of Business at Mainz University of Applied Sciences is strengthening its international profile and expanding its range of courses with the new English-language Bachelor's program in International Business (B.Sc.), which will start in winter semester 2025/26. With this step, the university is continuing to expand its international focus. The six-semester program combines business fundamentals with intercultural competence and international practical experience – optimally suited to the requirements of global markets.
Students acquire in-depth knowledge in key areas such as marketing, management, logistics, accounting, and human resources. The curriculum is supplemented by methodological fundamentals and practical content. The special features of the program include:
* A semester abroad at an international partner university
* Practical phases in globally active companies
* Intercultural teamwork with students from all over the world
Flexible study model with language support
The modular program is aimed at students worldwide. International students benefit from integrated German courses and an extended practical phase. Those who already speak German well can deepen their foreign language skills and take advantage of international study options.
“Our students experience internationalization not only in theory, but also in their daily interactions with each other – they acquire the language and cultural skills they need for a global career,” explains Prof. Dr. Daniel Porath, program director. ”Our program offers an innovative learning environment in one of the most dynamic regions of Germany.”
Best career prospects worldwide
With a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, graduates acquire an internationally recognized qualification that provides them with the ideal preparation for demanding specialist and management tasks in international companies. The program also offers a solid foundation for further master's programs in Germany and abroad.
Target group and application
The program is aimed at international and German students who wish to complete an internationally oriented business education in English.
Applications are open from May 2025.
