Digitalisation, machine learning and data-driven innovations are dynamically changing the global financial services industry. They offer huge potential for new business models, products and services. In the winter semester 2025/26, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management will launch the Master of Financial Technology (FinTech Master), in which students will acquire exactly the skills they need to realise new opportunities in banking and finance. The WM Group is now offering two scholarships for female students in the new FinTech Master's programme. Frankfurt School is doubling the funding from WM Group, resulting in two partial scholarships covering 50 percent of the tuition fees.

“With the new FinTech Master's degree, Frankfurt School is addressing a key need of the financial center Frankfurt and companies based here,” says Antonio Novillo, Managing Director, WM Gruppe. “We need international tech talent with strong finance skills to develop new products and businesses and strengthen our organisations. It goes without saying that we are delighted to make a contribution with these scholarships.”

He also adds: “Even today, few women choose to study IT or tech – even though this opens up excellent career prospects. With our scholarships, we want to set an example and want to explicitly encourage women for the FinTech Master's degree.”

Professor Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO of Frankfurt School, says: "The WM Group's commitment has already enabled us to launch the Philipp Sander Memorial Award in Digital Finance Research. With the new FinTech Master Scholarships, they are expanding their engagement in an area that has a transformative character and whose importance can hardly be overestimated – finance without tech is no longer conceivable today. On behalf of the Frankfurt School community, I would like to thank the WM Group for their support."
