Registration for the International Materials Science and Engineering Congress - MSE 2026 is open. From 29 September to 01 October 2026, the international congress will bring the materials science and engineering community together in Darmstadt, Germany, and online. The current ticket level is valid until 31 August 2026.
MSE 2026 Registration: Participate On-Site or Online
MSE 2026 gives participants access to the full scientific program of the congress. This includes plenary lectures, oral and poster sessions, the online poster area, the online exhibition, and on-demand recordings available for up to 14 days after the congress.
Participants can choose the format that best fits their plans: on-site participation in Darmstadt with additional online services, or online-only participation via the event platform. Both options provide access to scientific contributions, professional exchange, and key congress content.
Why Join On-Site?
On-site participation in Darmstadt offers direct access to the congress experience at the venue. In addition to the scientific sessions, participants benefit from personal exchange with colleagues, networking in the exhibition area, coffee breaks, lunches, and further program highlights.
These include the Poster Evening on Tuesday and the MSE Party on Wednesday. On-site participation is particularly suited to participants who want to continue discussions beyond the sessions, build new contacts, and experience the international materials science and engineering community in person.
Flexible Participation via the Online Platform
Participants who are unable to travel to Darmstadt can still take an active part in MSE 2026 with an online ticket. Online participation makes it possible to follow sessions live, present remotely, view posters online, exchange with other participants via virtual chat rooms, and watch presentations on demand after the congress.
This makes online participation a flexible option for everyone who wants to be part of MSE 2026 and access scientific content regardless of location.
Reduced Fees for DGM Members
Personal DGM members and employees of DGM company or institute members benefit from reduced fees across all ticket categories. Membership can therefore be a valuable option for participants who want to join MSE 2026 and stay connected to the DGM community beyond the congress.
The current ticket level for MSE 2026 is available until 31 August 2026. From 01 September 2026, registration fees will increase.
