The ranking consists of those top 10 international business schools and their MBA programs which made a significant improvement in the past two years. Findyourmba.com launched the ranking to help future MBA students in choosing the business school with the most potential in the upcoming 2 to 10 year.

    About the Rising Stars ranking

The new ranking Rising Stars by Findyourmba.com is based on the business schools' improvements in the past four years and data of the year 2007 and 2008. Some data which is used by established rankings is also used for the Rising Stars. On the other hand, many variables, which are ignored by the established rankings, such as forum and internet activities among MBA students, politics, long term investments of business schools, and strategic choices, are included in the Rising Stars survey. About the full-time MBA Program "International Management"

The HHL program excelled with its unique student body, faculty, structure and contents, entirely taught in English, allowing the HHL MBA to set itself apart from the field of applicants. The MBA program is perfectly adapted to current requirements for executives in the global economy. The curriculum is taught by known experts from Germany, and from all over the world. Another notable mark of quality is HHL's accreditation by AACSB, the world's leading accreditation agency for business schools.

Prof. Dr. Torsten Wulf, Academic Director of the MBA programs at HHL, notes that, "Since its introduction in 2000, the MBA program aims at the teaching of management and leadership skills in a global context. This has recently been reinforced by an innovative curriculum that is no longer purely functional, but is structured into various interdisciplinary management challenges (for example, Managing Investors, Managing Society, and Managing Customers). This functional, shareholder-oriented perspective combines the content of individual courses, and offers students a significant added value."

A stay abroad for study or practice ensures the practical relevance and internationality of the MBA. Numerous collaborations with foreign universities guarantee the international network of the program. HHL has more than 100 partner universities abroad, from Australia to Uruguay.
At various partner universities, it is possible to earn a double degree. Furthermore, 28 professors from seven countries provide students with insights into up-to-date practices and into future trends of entrepreneurial issues in a global context.

Particularly noteworthy is the intensive and professional student service that starts with the first contact and extends all the way to the alumni network. The HHL Career Service supports students from the date of admission until the successful job application. The placement rate for highly-skilled positions is 100 % for German students; and 95 % for international students. Many students receive offers from top international companies before graduation.
