”Interdisciplinary research to analyse the relationship between ethics, law and psychosocial as well as medical sciences”
Symposium prior to the 11th World Congress of Bioethics June 26th 2012, 13 – 16.30 hrs. Venue: Grand Café “Engels” in Rotterdam
Symposium organized by the European PHM Ethics Group, prior to the 11th World Congress of Bioethics.This pre-conference symposium aims at presenting the outcomes of the European PHM Ethics project.
Between 2009 and 2012, this collaborative research project had conducted interdisciplinary research to analyse the dependencies between ethics, law and psychosocial sciences in personalized health monitoring (PHM) to provide an interdisciplinary methodology that allows to study future PHM applications concerning their consequences on individual and societal level. Core research outcomes will be presented by the principal investigators of the project. In addition, invited experts give talks on their perspectives on personal health
monitoring in general and the project outcomes in particular.
