    - Programs for executives with leadership experience
    - Scholarships for the Executive Transition Program, Bringing Technology to Market, and the General Management Seminar
    - Application deadlines in April and June

ESMT European School of Management and Technology is promoting women in leadership positions by awarding several scholarships. Two full scholarships are available for the Executive Transition Program as well as for the General Management Seminar. The scholarships are aimed at experienced female executives who have demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative and proven success in their area of responsibility.

ESMT also offers two partial scholarships for both the Executive Transition Program and for Bringing Technology to Market. Three of the partial scholarships will be awarded together with the 30% Club, a worldwide initiative with the aim to increase the number of women on company boards and in their talent pipeline. The partial scholarships for Bringing Technology to Market are for women in leadership positions, who are responsible for the marketing of products and services on global B2B markets.

“The Executive Transition Program is an intense development opportunity,” says Alexandra Strömberg, Director of the Service Center Europe of Klarna, Sweden, and participant of the Executive Transition Program in 2015/2016. “It has already supported me in an important transition that I’m currently going through professionally. The highly relevant program content, great facilitators – but most importantly the broad network of participants – help me to address some of my biggest challenges as a leader.”

    About the programs:

    Executive Transition Program:
    - In English; three seven and a half-day modules from October 2016 to June 2017 in Schloss Gracht (close to Cologne) and Berlin
    - For executives who have recently moved, or are about to move, into positions with more general management responsibilities
    - Topics include strategic management, leadership, change management, and innovation
    - Upon completion the participants will receive the Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Management
    - Application deadline for scholarships: June 30, 2016

    Bringing Technology to Market:
    - In English; three four-day modules from June to November 2016 in Berlin, the United States, and China
    - For managers from technology-driven, globally active B2B companies, who lead a division or a regional company, and who are responsible for a new product, a new market, or service
    - Application deadline for scholarships: April 30, 2016

    General Management Seminar:
    - In German; three six-day modules from September to November 2016 in Schloss Gracht (close to Cologne)
    - For executives who are about to assume a senior executive position or have recently accepted one
    - Topics include strategic management, change management, leadership, and innovation
    - Upon completion the participants will receive the Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Management
    - Application deadline for scholarships: June 30, 2016

Candidates who wish to apply for a scholarship should submit a completed enrollment form, a CV, and a motivation letter via email. The complete application will be screened and evaluated by a jury headed by Claudia Nemat, member of the Deutsche Telekom AG Board of Management, Europe and Technology.

Christoph Burger, Senior Associate Dean of Executive Education at ESMT, comments, “Diversity is vital for a company to be successful, and female executives in top management positions are a crucial part of it. For ESMT, it is important to accompany dedicated female managers in all stages of their careers and to strengthen their further development. Therefore I am especially pleased that we are able to offer even more scholarships due to our cooperation with the 30% Club this year.”
