HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management

According to 2016 trendence Graduate Barometer, HHL is Germany's top university in 8 out of 10 categories. Survey: 100 percent of HHL students would recommend their alma mater.

In a comparison of 113 universities in Germany, the private institution HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management once again reached top rank in eight out of ten categories, leaving behind a large number of private and public business schools. The empirical basis of this year's trendence Graduate Barometer "Business Edition" is a survey which was carried out amongst 13,660 students during the 2015/16 fall and winter term.
This top score is substantiated even more by the results of the 2016 Universum Talent Survey as well, which was only recently published. The respondents from HHL praised the close network of alumni and employers, the excellent career opportunities and study conditions as well as the entrepreneurial spirit of their university.

The 2016 trendence Graduate Barometer attests to HHL's leading role in Germany regarding:

    • Lecturers/professors
    • Internationality of the education
    • Career opportunities/career service
    • Cooperation of the university with business
    • Practical relation of the education
    • Quality and service of the counseling institutions
    • Quality and topicality of the library
    • University location

92 percent of HHL students feel that their school prepared them for their career paths in the best possible way; nationwide, only 32 percent state the same. What is also remarkable is the fact that 100 percent of HHLers would recommend studying at their university.

"What I value about HHL in particular is the lively network of alumni which offers exciting and diverse career options. Together with an education which has a strong practical relevance thanks to numerous case studies, group work and field projects, it all ensures a secure and successful entry into a career," explains M.Sc. student Saskia Buskies.
The survey determined flexibility, social competency, resilience as well as pursuit of success to be particularly strong suits of the HHL students. The current survey proves the Leipzig business students' will to perform well with figures. While HHL students are prepared to work an average of 62 hours per week in their future positions, students of Master's programs in business administration offered by other universities stated they wanted to invest only 43 hours for their jobs.

HHL students say about their school (excerpt):

    • "I worked for three years to study at HHL and I have never regretted it."
    • "There is a reason why we rank among the best universities in Germany ;)"
