The University Achieved Top Rankings in the Areas of International Orientation and Regional Engagement
In the U-Multirank global comparison of universities, SRH University Heidelberg received very good evaluations for a number of indicators. In the criterion of international orientation, the university achieved an A, the top grade, for the percentage of international academic staff. The mobility of students abroad and the percentage of international master degree programmes also scored above average. Regionally, the private university is very well connected. SRH University Heidelberg occupies a top position at 68.8% in regional joint publications. This translates into 60.5% of bachelor’s degree students and 57.5% of master’s degree students finding jobs in the region. In the area of knowledge transfer, the university earns good grades amongst others for the number of companies that are founded by graduates.
“The positive evaluations in this ranking demonstrate that our university is more than just a hub for diversity in research, teaching and learning, but also our international students have outstanding job prospects because of the good networking with companies throughout the region,” said Prof. Dr. Carsten Diener, President of SRH University Heidelberg.
U-Multirank, an initiative of the European Commission, evaluated quality criteria for nearly 1,800 universities in 92 countries this year. More than 100,000 students participated in the ranking.
