Manager Magazin awards Frankfurt School – best university for auditors for the second time in a row

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management has been awarded Germany's best university for auditors by Manager Magazin for the second time in a row on 24 March 2022 in Berlin. The magazine compiles and publishes the ranking “Germany's best auditors” in cooperation with Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB).

In the “Universities” category, Frankfurt School ranks first and, achieving 459 out of 500 possible points, is one of only two universities to receive the top rating “excellent”. The ranking is based on the assessments of 89 auditing companies and 1,243 of their clients. The respondents have been asked to select the, in their opinion, three best universities and to assign them a rank.

Frankfurt School President, Professor Nils Stieglitz: “We are very pleased to receive this award, as it is an independent proof of what Frankfurt School stands for: One of our key strategic goals is to make the results of our research usable in practice. The Master in Auditing lives this symbiosis. Students receive in-depth theoretical knowledge they can apply directly in their companies. This dovetailing means that graduates are quickly assigned management tasks.”

Frankfurt School prepares students for a profession in the field of auditing primarily with its Master in Auditing. In addition, the business school offers auditing specialisations in further degree programmes, perfectly preparing students for a career in consulting and auditing. These programmes include, among others, the Bachelor of Science with a specialisation in Auditing and Consulting or the Master of Finance, for which an Accounting Advisory specialisation is offered. The Master in Auditing is accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). In the programme, three out of seven exams are credited for the auditor's examination.
