The podcast “Jewish Studies Today” from the Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies offers insights into the diverse research areas of Jewish Studies and focuses on the people at the college—students, researchers, and staff.
With its new podcast “Jewish Studies Today,” the Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies presents an exciting platform that makes the broad spectrum of Jewish studies tangible while focusing on the people and life at the college.
The podcast, which was conceived and designed by Dr. Dorothe Sommer, Head of University Communications, brings current research topics, cultural studies issues, and social debates from the field of Jewish Studies to the public. At the same time, the episodes offer authentic insights into the lives of students, researchers, and staff at the university. In this way, the episodes combine academic content with personal perspectives and showcase the lively atmosphere of everyday academic life.
“Jewish Studies Today” is released every two weeks and is aimed at anyone interested in Jewish studies, Jewish culture, and the university. The podcast invites listeners to gain a better understanding of the diverse aspects of Jewish scholarship and life and to engage in dialogue with the people behind it.
